Overview

Sunny Side Up partnered with DC artist Maggie O’Neill to create a photobooth activation built around her disco ball series—an immersive, joy-filled space that invited guests to reflect, connect, and celebrate light. Featuring mirrored spheres from 6 inches to 7 feet, the set embodied Maggie’s belief that disco balls spark magic and movement, creating camera-ready moments that energized attendees and elevated her vibrant brand.

"Creating this activation with Deveney was pure magic. From concept to execution, she understood the heart of my disco ball series—not just the shimmer, but the emotion behind it. They turned my studio into a living artwork where people could dance, connect, and see themselves reflected in light. The experience wasn’t just beautifully crafted—it was intentional, inclusive, and joyful. The photos captured that spirit perfectly, and the entire collaboration reminded me why art and community go hand-in-hand. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to bring this vision to life."

Dance It Out

The first pop-up was to produce a brand activation photobooth inspired by Maggie's disco ball series—a vibrant installation that blended art, movement, and community. We transformed Maggie’s studio into an immersive photo experience, featuring mirrored spheres from six inches to seven feet, inviting guests to interact, reflect, and capture joy-filled moments. The activation served as a dynamic canvas for connection, resulting in high-quality portraits and shareable content that echoed the spirit of her work: bold, inclusive, and full of light.

What’s included in a monthly retainer?

01

Each retainer includes a set number of design or strategy requests per month, priority turnaround, and a dedicated point of contact. It’s built for teams who want ongoing support without starting from scratch every time.

How many requests can I make per month?

02

We typically handle up to two active requests at a time, with new ones queued as they’re completed. Most deliverables are turned around within 48–72 hours, depending on complexity.

Is a retainer better than a one-off project?

03

If you need ongoing design support, faster turnarounds, or regular iterations, a retainer is often more cost-effective and collaborative than starting fresh each time.

Who will I be working with?

04

You’ll work directly with senior designers and strategists. No middle layers, no fluff—just experienced people doing the work.

Do you work with international clients?

05

Yes. Most of our clients are remote. We’re fully set up to collaborate across time zones with clear communication and shared tools.
