Overview

Over a two-year engagement, Sunny Side Up partnered with Acronis to scale global social impact, generating 32M+ social impressions, driving a 20% increase in followers, and supporting an employee advocacy program that delivered 83M+ impressions across 5 countries and 4 languages. Operating as an embedded extension of Acronis’ internal team, we brought structure and consistency to a complex, multi-stakeholder organization. Our work unified social strategy, content execution, and employee participation across HR, Product, PR, DEI, Leadership, Communications, and regional teams. Alongside global content planning and advocacy management, we delivered in-house social media training to upskill employees and align leadership expectations, and restructured Acronis’ YouTube presence to improve consistency, navigation, and engagement. Together, these efforts created a more cohesive, scalable social ecosystem that continues to drive reach, engagement, and trust across platforms.

In-House Social Media Training

In-House Social Media Training

Employees across diverse geographic, cultural, and technical backgrounds entered the program with varying definitions of social media success, so we aligned employees and leadership around shared best practices, clear goals, and measurable outcomes. The training covered profile optimization, platform updates and evolving best practices, post creation across formats, engagement strategies through reposting and community participation, and newsletter creation as a measurable thought-leadership channel. More than 60 employees were trained across regions and functions, resulting in a 35 to 45 percent average increase in employee post engagement within three months, a 30 percent increase in employee-generated content shared through advocacy channels, improved profile completeness and brand consistency across leadership and individual contributor accounts, and the launch of multiple employee-led newsletters that contributed to sustained organic reach and visibility.

YouTube

Acronis’ YouTube presence was fragmented, with multiple teams owning content and no unified experience, so we introduced structure, clarity, and governance across the platform. Our work included bi-weekly stakeholder alignment sessions, the introduction of a unified motion graphics system for intros, outros, and CTAs, curated playlists to improve content discovery, removal of outdated or no-longer-relevant videos, and the creation of a how-to guide for community management and engagement. As a result, channel consistency improved across more than 100 active videos, average watch time on newly standardized content increased by 20 to 25 percent, click-through rates on CTAs improved following intro and outro unification, content duplication was reduced with clearer ownership across teams, and curated playlists drove longer session durations. The outcome was a YouTube channel that felt intentional, brand-aligned, and easier for users to explore and engage with.
