A full brand and digital refresh for Nüssli 118º — redefining their story through a comprehensive brand strategy and a beautifully reimagined Shopify experience that makes healthy indulgence feel joyful, elevated, and accessible. Nüssli 118º crafts vegan, gluten-free, and organic treats made with sprouted nuts, seeds, and whole ingredients — nourishing both body and spirit. When founder Angela Hoffman came to Sunny Side Up, the brand had heart and community loyalty but needed a digital presence to match its care and craftsmanship. Through our Refresh & Revitalize engagement, we re-anchored Nüssli 118º in a clear brand strategy and brought it to life through a fully redesigned Shopify experience that celebrates joyful nourishment and mindful indulgence.

To set a stronger foundation, we began with a deep dive into Nüssli 118º’s mission, audience, and market, uncovering insights that shaped a cohesive and authentic brand direction. We redefined the mission and vision around the belief that indulgence and wellness can coexist beautifully, grounded in values of nourishment, accessibility, integrity, sustainability, and inclusion. The brand pillars—Joyful Nourishment, Artisanal Integrity, Inclusive Elevation, and Lifestyle Versatility—became the heart of the story, expressing a balance between joy, craftsmanship, inclusivity, and everyday relevance. We identified key audience personas ranging from conscious health buyers to curious explorers and corporate gift purchasers, ensuring every message spoke directly to their motivations. Finally, we developed a unified messaging framework and tone of voice, anchored by taglines such as “Indulgence with Intention” and “Joyful Treats. Whole Ingredients.” This framework became the guiding north star for all design and communication decisions moving forward, ensuring the brand feels elevated, human, and values-driven.

Modern, legible typography and airy layouts allowed photography and storytelling to shine, creating a sense of calm and authenticity throughout. On the experience side, we redesigned the Shopify UX/UI to simplify product discovery, enhance navigation, and create a seamless checkout flow. Every page was infused with narrative, connecting users to the brand’s sourcing, process, and purpose, while a custom-developed theme ensured optimized mobile performance and scalability. The result is a digital storefront that feels handcrafted—mirroring the same care, quality, and craftsmanship that define every Nüssli 118º creation.
